Liaise with: Customers, Café Staff, Reception staff and facility hires
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £18,500 per annum
Main Purpose of the Job: To take responsibility for the running of the café with a hands on approach, partaking in all aspects of the daily operations where necessary and promote the café to increase profitability. Ideally the successful candidate would be able to cover the chef’s duties on his day off.
To provide a front of house service including serving customers and making drinks. Manage and promote the café to increase sales supervise the café staff to assist the chef when necessary in busy periods. Organise the café staffing rota, organise bookings and buffet arrangements for meetings, conferences and parties. Cash up and balance the till at the end of every day. Ensure the café and kitchen areas are maintained to a high standard ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene guideline. Troubleshoot any problems that may arise and report any maintenance issues. Train café assistants when necessary, ensure all paperwork is kept up to date. This is not an exhaustive list of all of the duties that may need to be undertaken.
Previous café experience is a bonus but not essential as initiative is an essential part of this diverse role. You would work within a vibrant and busy equestrian centre with the café as the hub. No two days are the same and the successful candidate must thrive within a busy customer focussed environment.

CAFÉ CATERING ASSISTANT.
We are a small and friendly team looking for new members to join us. Working hours are flexible but may include some weekend or evening work.

Keeping Kitchen area clean and tidy
